CLAPTONE IS COMING TO AUSTRALIA

Emerging from the shadows around 2012, the enigmatic Claptone has become one of the most recognisable names in modern house music.

Shrouded behind his distinctive golden mask, Claptone quickly rose to global attention with the hypnotic “No Eyes”, followed by tracks including “Cream”, “Wrong”, “Heartbeat” and “The Drums (Din Daa Daa)”.

His signature sound blends house, deep house and tech house, combining soulful melodies with infectious grooves and dancefloor energy.

From Tomorrowland, Coachella, Rock in Rio, Creamfields and Ultra Music Festival to his globally recognised The Masquerade events, Claptone has built an entire world around his music, mystery and performance.

Now the mask is coming to Australia.

ARTIST STORY

BEHIND THE MASK

Claptone has built an identity around mystery.

Since emerging in the early 2010s, the golden mask has become just as recognisable as the music itself.

Across acclaimed albums including Charmer, Fantast and Closer, Claptone has developed a sound that moves between house, deep house, tech house and indie-pop, while collaborations with artists including Seal, Barry Manilow and James Vincent McMorrow have expanded that sound far beyond the traditional club environment.

His influence also extends into remix culture, with Claptone reworking tracks from artists including Gregory Porter, Mark Ronson, Mylo, Elton John & Dua Lipa and Michael Kiwanuka.

But perhaps the clearest expression of the Claptone world is The Masquerade.

Venetian masks, elaborate production, theatrical environments and house music have transformed The Masquerade into a global event concept, with the party travelling across the world and establishing major Ibiza residencies.

YOU KNOW THE MASK. YOU KNOW THE SOUND. NOW ENTER THE MASQUERADE.
